Welcome Reception

Venue: Citizen Gallery, 1st Floor of the Aster Plaza Hiroshima (the conference site)

※Attraction: The tea ceremony will be performed as the CD 2023 warm welcome.
The tea ceremony performance together with an explanation of the Tea Ceremony in English will be done.
This is known as one of the most representative aspects of Japanese culture.
Matcha tea will be served to CD 2023 participants with sweets.

Excursion (Miyajima Island Tour)

Miyajima-Island:

One of the world heritage sites was designated by UNESCO and is positioned as one of the 3 most beautiful sites in Japan. The red vermilion collar grand gate is very famous as the symbol of Japan. We see this gate at a lot of photos and sightseeing magazines.
You can enjoy the Momiji Manju cake one of Hiroshima specialties in your free time.

Depart from the hotel pier-Stop near the Grand Gate on the sea-Visit from the sea- Return to the Hotel Pier. It will be a 30 min. tour.
When the sun sets, large and small lanterns are lit up, and the grand gate, Itsukushima Shrine, the five-stories pagoda, and the Tahoto pagoda are lit up. Enjoy the magical night of Itsukushima.
